It's certainly not the reason I bought the whole game, but I figured that given I did have it, avenger314's idea to make a puzzle in it was a good one. (I also have to credit Derek Kisman for giving me a way to amass the resources for it quickly.)
I'm actually surprised that it wasn't your idea in the first place. Have you considered creating a brand new puzzle in Minecraft, rather than recreating one of your previous ones?
The thought had occurred to me. Then I finished this one, and realized how much of a nuisance it is, and decided it probably wasn't worth it. (Forget the materials - the hardest part was levelling the plain!) I must admit that it IS tempting, however, to throw together a hedge maze of sorts. (Perhaps with portals!) With future updates, I may well come up with some puzzle designs that will benefit from the medium.
Incidentally, if anyone out there has Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition themselves and would like to see this live (pun intended), send me an email and I'll see what I can do.
Fun fact: the random seed for the world I built this in is 'Sudoku'. There is a MASSIVE network of natural caverns JUST below the surface in this world; in fact, there's a single dirt block somewhere north of the top-right corner of where the grid is that is all one has to dig to open up the whole thing for exploration, no tools required. - ZM
I saw it, and I remain impressed. Adam has given me the idea of a haunted house ride, though I don't think that will be overly feasible. Some ideas that may possibly work are a large fountain and a waterslide.
This reminds me somewhat of my levels "DESTROY ALL SUDOKU" and "The Sudoku That Wouldn't Die" which I made in Voxatron. Creating a voxel-based Sudoku in Voxatron is a bit easier than in Minecraft (you don't have to amass resources or level land), but the non-trivial part is creating a fun interactive experience. :)

For the record, I have no idea how that song got in my head, but it was there ALL DAY, and it was EPIC. So uplifting! - ZM
