Writer's Block: Band on the run
"Which song associated with musician Paul McCartney is your favorite, and why?"
Looks like I'm the first to choose "Wanderlust" from Tug Of War. Funny, I thought the choice easy. It's a powerful struggle for individuality in a sea of hopelessness. It's a great anthem for those who see life heading in a bad direction and want to take their own path. It builds up at a perfect pace, from subdued piano to orchestral fanfare. Easily one of my favorite songs of all time. (You may prefer the rerecorded version from Give My Regards to Broad Street. I don't. The new ending ruins it for me.) - ZM
