I just ran into "Lightbulb" puzzles on Otto Janko's site (http://www.janko.at/Raetsel/Lampions/index.htm), which are somewhat related, conceived by Erich Friedman (http://www2.stetson.edu/~efriedma/bulb/).

It completely misses the dynasty rules and on/off bulbs don't translate directly to knights/knaves, but there's certainly some similarity.

Personally I much prefer your Smullyanic Dynasty puzzles -- Lightbulb seems to require a lot of if-then-else logic.
