Intriguing. It would appear that the relationship between Mike and Sam is not quite as rock-solid as I had initially thought. Well, either that or Sam is easily angered. But I don't believe that's likely, as 'short-tempered' and 'legendary sniper' wouldn't fit well at all. I'm particularly intrigued by Sam's section; his take on the previous night's activities don't really match up with Mike's thoughts during the previous chapter, both in terms of the gang's intentions (thieves vs. terrorists) and, potentially, the fate of the 'Lumicell'. Mike clearly intended to buy one of the devices, but the chapter never explicitly stated that he took one. And Sam states (well, thinks) that he's disappointed that none of them were salvagable. So, now I'm wondering:

Did Sam destroy all seventeen of the Lumicells, or does Mike have one that Sam doesn't know about.
