I had a decent bit of that in common, though my image of Mike was much more movie-esque. I had a few images in my mind, mostly of action movies where that sort of thing happens (usually more by accident, though). Mike was more the cop-in-civilian-clothes type to me, wearing something fairly casual but common like jeans and a golf shirt, or similar. Sam was more similar in imagination, though I figured there'd be maybe a flash of camouflage shirt or something as a figure dashed out the other way when they left.
